Rototiller Rental

UH Hilo has a rototiller available free of charge for UH projects.

Powermate rear tine rotary tiller can till soil 4-6 inches deep to prepare for planting or other work. User walks behind the tiller, steering it with the two handlebars; internal drive moves the tiller forward, user simply has to steer. Three depth settings allow user to set depth of tilling. Tiller runs on regular gasoline and comes with two metal ramps to assist in loading into a trailer or truck bed. Caution is required to keep all body parts away from tiller blades during use, loading and unloading, and while clearing debris from blades.
